Founded by Damien Fleury, a Swiss native from the French speaking area, TSWS represents a selection of wines from the 6 major Swiss Wine regions.

Wines selected by TSWS are sourced directly from some of the top and most revered Swiss family and boutique wineries.

Chesa, a Michelin-selected Swiss restaurant at The Peninsula Hong Kong since 1965, proudly presents a gastronomic journey during "Swiss Month." Silvio Germann is a celebrated chef from Lucerne who served as the head chef and co-owner of the acclaimed ‘IGNIV by Andreas Caminada’ restaurant from 2015 to 2022, earning two Michelin stars and 18 GaultMillau points during his tenure. In 2022, he opened the ‘Mammertsberg’ in Freidorf, Thurgau, with his mentor Andreas Caminada, quickly gaining recognition in the gourmet scene by receiving 18 GaultMillau points in its first year and two Michelin stars in 2023. Germann, who is noted for his creativity and innovative dishes, emphasizes the joy of cooking and the opportunities it provides for self-expression. Prior to his success, he trained under renowned chefs and gained valuable experience in prestigious kitchens across Europe, including working with Caminada at Schloss Schauenstein. Originally aspiring to be a professional footballer, Germann found his passion in cooking and completed his apprenticeship at Sempacherhof before advancing to top culinary roles.

Switzerland boasts an extensive heritage in winemaking, dairy farming, and cheesemaking.

Winemaking in Switzerland traces back to Roman times. The defining characteristic of Swiss wines is their remarkable variety and diversity, a result of the complex geography and multicultural environment. The unifying element is the Alpine environment, which imparts a distinct freshness, cleanliness, and mineral quality to the wines.

Dairy farming and cheesemaking are deeply ingrained ancestral traditions in Switzerland. The breeding of cattle, sheep, and goats for milk can be traced back to the Neolithic period, and cheese exportation from the Alpine regions has been a practice since ancient times. In the modern era, Swiss cheese dairies and mountain pastures produce an impressive range of over 700 cheese varieties, encompassing textures from soft to extra hard.
 

Throughout Swiss Month, the LRC invites its members to indulge in a delightful array of Swiss-inspired experiences. Savor a traditional Swiss Fondue at the Sundeck and Harry’s, expertly paired with a selection of fine Swiss wines. At Gourmet 10, the club’s retail shop, explore the rich flavors of Switzerland with a special Swiss Wine Promotion, and enjoy Swiss sandwiches alongside a variety of authentic Swiss products available in both the retail shop and deli.
